Calibration unit for Tinsley Model 5902 Long-Haul Submarine Cable Test Set

This unit enables the Model 5902 Long Haul Submarine Cable Test Set to be calibrated at sea by its operators with out the necessity for it to come ashore or to be returned to headquarters.

Conductor Resistance

The Model 5906B provides high stability Test Resistors  to calibrate the Conductor Resistance measurement facilities of the Model 5902 Long Haul Submarine Cable Test Set.  It can be used in both constant current and constant voltage modes. Forced air cooling is provided for high power tests. An over temperature buzzer sounds if temperature limits are likely to be exceeded.

The unit can be used on both 110 and 230 Volt supplies and comes complete with test leads and connectors.
